From 15th to 18th December, 1914, the 2nd Coldstream Guards of 4 Brigade, 2nd Division, were in trenches at Rue l’Epinette near Estaires after which they moved back to billets in Locon where they remained until 26th December. Frederick Wright died from wounds on 25th December and is buried in a nearby cemetery but as yet there is no information as to where and on what date he was wounded.
